Hallan muerta a rescatista de animales en Tultitlán tras denunciar amenazas

Tultitlán, 30 de marzo de 2026.- Diana Belén García Alfaro, conocida como Anaid Belén, rescuist of dogs and activist, was found dead on March 25 in the municipality of Tultitlán, State of Mexico.

She had been reported missing since March 18, 2026, and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGJEM) was notified of her disappearance on March 19.

The search record indicates she was last seen in the Sierra de Guadalupe colony in Tultitlán.

García Alfaro had filed complaints about threats and aggressions against her and the animals she rescued. According to her reports, the threats began in November 2025.

On March 9, 2026, she reported the death of one of her dogs inside her home. She went to the Prosecutor’s Office to file a complaint, and the aggressors allegedly learned of the complaint and returned to kill another of her dogs.

In February, she reported on social media that she was beaten by her aggressors. In publications, she stated that her attackers had relatives at the Prosecutor’s Office and the municipal police of Tultitlán.

She also reported being harassed by a group that wanted her to leave a plot of land where she lived. After refusing to leave, they began following her, intimidating her, and breaking the lock of her home.

She showed a video with alleged lacerations on her face and reported the death of some of her animals from alleged poisoning.

A legal process had been ongoing with the FGJEM since November 14, 2024, under internal control number CAJ/CAT/00/CAT/184/119207/24/11.

Animal abuse collectives are demanding that her case be investigated.

“I just hope they can really help me so I don’t end up being one more number and my puppies don’t end up being victims of these criminal murderers,” she said.
